“The VFW and American Legion are hosting pop up events at Veteran owned businesses to bring support to these exceptional former members of the military. This will be a once a month event at different locations throughout the county.

Zinfest Weekend Grand Tasting
46 Wineries are bringing the classic festival back to life!
Zinfandel is the heritage grape of Paso Robles, with roots dating back to the late 1800s when Italian immigrants brought vines to the region. Not everyone makes a Zinfandel, but that doesn't mean we can't celebrate it! Come join our West Side wineries and taste West Side Zinfandels and maybe a few other varietals.

Alternative Tastes Wine Fest: Celebrating Paso’s Unique Varieties
Join us for the return of the Alternative Tastes Wine Fest, a celebration of Paso Robles’ rare and remarkable grape varieties, returning March 28th, 2026. Start the day with a Blind Tasting of rare white and red wines led by Hal Schmitt of Volatus and Carl Bowker of Caliza and End of the Day. The Grand Tasting Experience at Pavilion on the Lake in Atascadero will follow the seminar.
Presented by CRUSH Vineyard, Alternative Tastes shines a spotlight on 20+ boutique winemakers crafting wines from uniquely Californian grape varieties—with fewer than 1,000 acres planted statewide.

Saturday, March 28th –
11:30am - 1pm - Red, White and Blind Winemaker Seminar - Join Hal, Brenna and Carl to Taste and learn about rare white and red grape varieties grown and produced in Paso Robles.
1pm - 4 pm - Grand Tasting and Silent Auction - Join 20 local winemakers to Taste and learn about rare white and red grape varieties grown and produced in Paso Robles.

Veterans Day Weekend
Join us and support your local veterans at Veteran owned business Volatus!
We will have wine specials all weekend including live music Sunday with Michael Keeney and food on site for purchase from Patagonia Hot Dogs!
Live music on Sunday starts at 1pm and Patagonia Hot dogs will start serving at noon!
Wine specials are around starting Friday until they are out of stock or through Tuesday.

46 West Wineries: 3rd Annual HALLOWINE
Join the Wineries of the 46 West on Saturday, October 25th at Dark Star Cellars as we celebrate the harvest and our third annual, “HalloWine” Harvest Block Party!
Come dressed in your best Hallowine Costume and mix and mingle with the monsters of the 46 West. Your ticket includes wine tasting of the 46 West Member wineries, live DJ spinning your favorite tunes and prizes for the best dressed.
There will be three food trucks so please come hungry!
Fusion Food Truck, Patagonia Hot Dogs and City Mouse Country Kitchen will have her spooky treats!
Each winery will also participate in a third annual winery costume contest which YOU will vote for!

Tannat Library Tasting
Hal Schmitt has been making delicious Tannats since 2015.
We would love to take a deep dive into the world of Tannat, according to winemaker, Hal “Bull” Schmitt! Enjoy the history and experience of how each year was different from year to year and oak barrel to oak barrel.
The side-by-side tasting will be located inside our Ready Room where only 8 seats will be available per time slot.
2 time slots on Saturday at 12pm - 2pm and 3pm - 5pm
1 time slot on Sunday only at 1pm - 3pm

VFW Takeover!
We are proud to host a fundraising event for the VFW!
Saturday, ugust 9th from 11am - 4pm we are hosting Central Coast Vets helping Vets at our tating room for a fundraiser!
With the donated amount of your ticket, you will receive hors d’Oeuvres, live music, a welcome pour and entry into a raffle for a wine cooler filled with 50 bottles of wine! You do not need to be present to win the wine cooler of wine, so your ticket and donation still enters you into the raffle.
